Lizard people from Fanath minis. These are made for fantasy football kinds of games, but I figure they are generic enough to use in any sort of fantasy or science fiction setting where I might want some lizard people. I debated on whether to add weapons to them, but leaving them empty-handed keeps them more generic. I suppose I could try magnetized weapons/hands, but that might be more fiddly than I want to bother with. So here they are in all their bare-fisted glory.

Beautiful painting F-B. Their teeth and claws are probably enough!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah, you're probably right. ha ha
ReplyDeleteLovely looking lizards!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank, Iain!
ReplyDeleteI've gotten a few minis from this company and they have all been well-sculpted and the multi-part ones have been made in such a way that they usually go together quite well with lots of surface are to make a good strong bond. Rather than have something like separate small bits like hands or arms, for example, they will have the arms and shoulders as one unit that slots onto the back. And for the most part the joins are almost invisible, especially once the minis are painted.
These guys look cool! I can't be bothered to magnetize weapon on larger vehicles, I can't even begin to imagine doing it to tiny little hands on miniatures!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tim!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've never magnetized any parts of even bigger minis. If I ever get around to using any of these in games I will use them as is and imagine whatever weapons they might have.
