Four hefty Owl Bears from TAG (The Assault Group). These are metal. I think the bodies are basically the same ones they made for their bears with dwarven riders, with added wings and feathers and other owl bear features, along with different heads, of course. Fun figures to paint.
I tried to go for a couple of standard brownish owls/bears, like you might find in the woods.
Along with an arctic or polar owl bear and a melanistic owl bear.
I am still here, but haven't done much painting during the heat of the summer. I am starting to get back to it though, and hope to have some minis finished soon.
By the way, I am having trouble posting comments on some blogs. It looks like the way things work has changed on some platforms and/or on my computer. I get a popup message saying "an error has occurred", without any explanation or way to fix it being offered.
I think this is the last of the kobolds from the game.

These are from TAG (The Assault Group). They aren't really the right shape for polar bears, so maybe they are a pale version of grizzlies or some species/variety of their own. Great blue bears from the frozen north (in honor of a departed online comrade in minis and gaming).
Also, proof that dwarves can be wizards (bonus figure from the KickStarter for the Bear Knights).
He is actually not the only dwarf wizard I have. I have an much older one, which I think is from the early Citadel days when they did have dwarf wizards.
I was playing around with creating characters for various RPGs. I find it can be fun in its own right, and a good way to explore various RPG systems. In the process I also started drawing character portraits for a few of them, for the fun and for the practice.
These are ones I did for some sci-fi/space opera RPGs. Drawn with a Sakura Pigma pen on watercolor paper, and painted with colored inks, which can be treated like watercolor paints.
I finally finished some more Super Dungeon Explore heroes. Not the cleanest paint job, but serviceable enough for tabletop play.
