Here are my latest - some droids, space dwarves and a couple of pieces of some sort of tech (good for objective markers), all from Lead Adventures Miniatures.

Those droids are wonderful, great fun.
ReplyDeleteSome real gems there Fitz :)
ReplyDeleteAre those droids steam-powered? They're very nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys!
ReplyDeleteI think they might be steam-powered. They certainly do look steampunk-y. I had started painting the R2 one just metallic and then realized it was very similar to R2, so I switched to the white and blue for most of it. That meant the other tall thin droid had to be painted up in gold (or brass). They are also a bit reminiscent of "Minions". Not sure what the 3rd one is patterned after, if anything.
The space dwarves fit in nicely with some previous space dwarves I painted, in mostly green uniforms. I think they were intended to.
The pieces of tech or whatever they are were part of one of the packs, so I painted them up quickly, too. Always handy to more stuff to dress up a game setting or to use as some sore of objective markers.
Love the retro droids! Very nice,as are the space dwarves and bits and bobs, did you ever go in for 40k squats when they were around?

Thanks!
DeleteI had a few squats back in the day, but never got into 40K and got rid of the few 40K minis I had at some point. Probably should have kept more since I have been getting more into sci-fi games lately. Things can change in a few decades. LOL
This are most effective ,are they getting a game soon z.
